MISSOURI RIVER Guided FLY fishing Trips
Drift Boat Fly Fishing
Relax and enjoy the river from the seat of a professionally guided water craft. Your guide will know the best stretches of the river to fish and will skillfully position the boat to give you the best opportunity for a successful day of flyfishing. A local shuttle service will transport the guide's vehicle downstream so that the guide can return you to your place of lodging at the end of the day.
What Happens.......
A day on the Missouri in mid-summer generally starts at 7:00-8;00AM in Craig, MT at one of Craig's three local Fly shops. All shops are within a short walking distance of each other. You and your guide will meet at a pre-determind specific time and location. Full day guide trips generally run 6 to 9 hours in length depending on the fishing conditions, the weather, and the guest's desire. Following the conclusion of your fishing day, your guide will return you to the morning meeting location. The guides generally determine the stretch to be fished on any given day based on the current fishing/weather conditions, angler skill, and fishing pressure on a particular stretch.
